Milton M. Herrera is an Associate Professor in Business Management at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Colombia, where he is also Senior Research in System Dynamics and Director of Contemporary Studies Group in Organisational Management. Professor’s Herrera is also an international researcher at SINERGIA group at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). Graz University of Technology’s IAS-STS appointed him as the Research Fellow. At the University of Palermo (Italy), he earned a Ph.D. in Model Based Public Planning, Policy Design, and Management. Additionally, at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano (Colombia), he also obtained a PhD in Modelling Public Policy and Management. He received a BSc and MSc in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas (Colombia). He is a member of the System Dynamics Society. His work appears in renowned scientific journals like Renewable Energy, Energy, Utilities Policy, and Electricity Journal. His research focuses on energy policy, energy transition, transportation, and supply chains performance. Currently, he has a research project to aim to assess alternative energy policy for diffusion of green energy in the transportation sector.

Project at IAS-STS: Incorporating green hydrogen into the transportation system alongside other renewable supplies.

This research aims to assess energy-policy alternatives through a system dynamics methodological approach for integrating green hydrogen as a substitute fuel for the transportation system in developing and developed countries (e.g., Germany, China, Brazil, and Colombia).
