The participating SMEs acquire knowledge of the basic principles of cognition, methodical selection of computing, communication, sensor and actuator components for applications, tools for setting up, implementing and evaluating human-centric projects, ways in which life cycle costs, non-functional requirements and sustainability can be taken into account in system design, as well as in-depth knowledge in the field of data analysis and visualization, practical knowledge in the application of current software engineering, AI & machine learning techniques.

The qualification program is geared towards the operational requirements and necessities, it supports participants in applying what they have learned in their companies.

The IFZ researchers are responsible for the didactic conception, the train-the-trainer education of the lecturers, training content on integration processes, gender and diversity aspects in AI, as well as evaluation of the qualification objectives.
