Burcin Kalabay | Hatipoglu

Burcin Hatipoglu is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey. She holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales, Sydney. In the last ten years Dr. Hatipoglu has been involved in several sustainable tourism development projects and consulted industry organizations. Her research interests include human capital reporting, education for sustainability and organizational sustainability.

Project at IAS-STS: Sustainability Innovations at Small and Medium-Sized Suppliers: Food Sector

The general aim of the research project (2017-2019) is to examine the business model innovations for sustainability of 250 exporter/producer SMEs in Turkey, through quantitative and qualitative methodologies. At IAS-STS my research will ınclude data collected from the buyer organizations that are placed in a developed nation (Austria). And the broad aim will be to explore the governance mechanisms of buyer organizations in the food supply chain.
