This is Hami Yousefdehi, MSc in Entrepreneurship management at University of Tehran, Iran. I interested in the area of Technological innovation systems & Sustainability. My Main research interest is Technology policy for sustainable development. In doing so, I specifically interested in the models of Technological innovation systems in order to formulate Developing policy strategies for Sustainability Transitions. The Technological innovation system encompasses all important factors that influence the development, diffusion and use of innovation. What are the drivers, barriers and strategies for implementation of Sustainable Development? What is the role of government in financing and incentives in any innovation systems? How entrepreneurs and policy makers can affect our main models of Technological Innovation Systems? What is the role of external factors such as global economic crisis or international organization decisions? How we could combine Developing policy strategies with effective legal and institutional instruments? What are the influences and the role of public authorities in fulfilment of our policy making? How markets respond to policy-generated incentives? are some specific areas of my interests. My MSc thesis title is “Identification & Analysis of effective factors in accomplishment of Sustainable Entrepreneurships in order to creation of Technological innovation Systems, The case of Energy Policy in wind, in Iran.” I have published several papers in different journals such as Emerald, Energy policy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Managements Science and Engineering.

Project at IAS-ST: Identification and Analysis of Systemic Failures in Austrian Innovation System: The case of Wind, Solar and Biomass

Renewable energy technologies have a hard time to break through in the existing energy regime. This proposal provides insight into the development of renewable energy technologies in the Austria . This is done by applying a Technological Innovation System (TIS) approach. This approach takes the perspective that a technology is shaped by a surrounding network of actors, institutions and technologies. Since the 1970s research on energy conversion technologies, such as biomass digestion, has been carried out in the Europe countries. However, after 30 years biomass digestion has not been implemented on large scale. Such situation exist in wind and solar for Austria. The aim of this proposal is to create insight into the underlying factors of this troublesome trajectory by applying new “Structure of Systemic Failures based on Dynamics of TIS”. We propose a systemic structure according to Austria that covers weaknesses of previous traditional methods. The results of this study will be used in renewable energy policy making and definitely develop the borders of Innovation systems as a new paradigm of technological change.
