Mahdi Zarghami

Mahdi Zarghami is associate professor at the University of Tabriz, Iran. He was visiting researcher at Tufts University Water Diplomacy Program and also MIT Sociotechnical Systems Research Center. He also attended courses in Harvard University on Water Policy. His main research and teaching interest is water resources management including governance and diplomacy. He graduated PhD from Sharif University of Technology, Iran 2007 after being visiting scholar at the University of Arizona, 2006-2007. He has co-authored 3 books (one in Springer), about 50 journal papers and 100 conference presentations. Some of the peer refereed papers of Dr Zarghami are published in Water Resources Management, Information Science, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management, and European Journal of Operations Research. He is a fellow at Earth System Governance Project.
