The waste management concept gives information about the amount, composition, origin and fate of all types of waste, which accumulate in the course of operating the University of Technology on three locations (Kopernikusgasse, Inffeldgasse, Rechbauerstraße). Further it documents what measures are and will be provided to meet waste-economic requirements, i.e. the prevention, recycling and disposal of waste. The concept is therefore a controlling instrument indicating the potential of prevention and recycling. Beside the procurement of products with a low content of toxicological questionable components is considered.
