FOODLINKS

FOODLINKS is a collaborative project funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission with the purpose of evaluating knowledge brokerage activities to promote sustainable food consumption and production: linking scientists, policymakers and civil society organizations.

FOODLINKS organises a collective process of sharing knowledge around particular problems of food systems in three thematic communities of practice (CoPs): short producer to consumer food chains, re-valuing public sector food procurement and urban food strategies. The project monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of linking research, policy and practice within the thematic CoPs through conducted knowledge brokerage activities by means of value creation narratives, video interviews and social network analysis.
