Projektbericht

The broad implementation of the plus energy house in practice can only be reached by a further development of the low energy and passive house technology. An optimal adjustment of the housing technology, in particular the ventilation system, affects both the energy consumption and the air quality of the building substantially. An improved air quality is an absolute necessity for a high user acceptance.

Aim of the research project was the optimization of the technology „ventilation system“ as basis for future planning and adjustment. The contrast between good air quality and low room humidity in the winter was considered by the example of the passive housing estate Lodenareal in Innsbruck.

IFZ performed interviews and surveys of the tenants in the housing estate in the context of this project.
